The Yungang Grottoes are ancient Chinese Buddhist temple grottoes. The site is located about 16 km south-west of the city of Datong, in the valley of the Shi Li river at the base of the Wuzhou Shan mountains.  In 2001, the Yungang Grottoes were made a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Yungang Grottoes are considered by UNESCO to be a "masterpiece of early Chinese Buddhist cave art and represent the successful fusion of Buddhist religious symbolic art from south and central Asia with Chinese cultural traditions, starting in the 5th century CE under Imperial auspices." It is classified as a AAAAA scenic area by the China National Tourism Administration.

We use the calligraphy feature of Wei Tablet( a handwriting style dating back to Chinese North Wei Dynasty)in the period when Yungang Grotto was built and combine the element of Yungang Grotto itself to form the logo of "Yungang Grotto" by refining and summarizing.Even though the"Feibai"style(a specific technique of calligraphy characterized by hollow strokes,as if done with a half-dry brush)in Chinese painting and calligraphy is also the image of the grotto itself. Facing such an abundant and massive culture heritage of the world, we daren't say what to creat, but only present it originally by the feature of itself.
